Washed Rayon

This is a classic example of what happens when Rayon is washed.
Rayon is a fiber made from wood pulp and when it’s exposed to water the material becomes extremely stiff. Thus  excess agitation will causes premature wear around the edges and often cause the seams to fray and split.
