How to Remove a Guacamole Stain.
Chips and Guacamole, Yum! Yum! I can eat it all day but wearing it is a different story. Quickly remove it with: Dawn Dishwashing Liquid and water.
Use a butter knife or spoon to lightly scrape off any solid pieces of guacamole without smearing it or embedding it further into the material. Then create a spotting solution to lift off the remaining guacamole from the material.
- Create a spotting solution with 1 part Dawn Dishwashing Liquid, 5 parts water.
- Apply the solution directly to the guacamole stain.
- Tamp with a brush.
- Let the solution rest on the guacamole stain for 5-10 minute to penetrate.
- Rinse area with fresh water.
- If necessary repeat steps.
Finish by cleaning the entire item as recommended by the care label.
