How to Remove Cranberry Juice Stains.

Cranberry juice is a great prevention for avoiding bladder infections. It is not so great when textiles are stained with cranberries. Berries is categorize under tannin stains. So avoid the use of alkaline products such as Spray n Wash and Shout.

Fresh Cranberry Juice Stain: Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent

Dried Cranberry Juice Stain: Heinz Distilled White Vinegar

Aged and Oxidized Cranberry Juice Stains: Borax

Test for colorfastness before using any of the spotting solutions. Apply a small amount of the solution on a white towel, blot that part of the towel on a hidden part o the garment. Check for color transfer on to the towel.

When done with the stain removal process, always clean the entire garment as recommended by the care label. Never leave garments unclean after using spotting or cleaning products. Over time the spotting agent can discolor, or yellow, and weaken the material.
