How to remove rust stains
Question; how I get rid of rust stains?
Answer; As you know rust is metal and general stain removers don’t work, you need a rust remover to get rid of it. Your local hardware store will sell rust removers such as one made by “rust-oleum”.
Always test garment for colorfastness first.
Rust removers usually don’t remove color but it is highly corrosive. You need to wash the garment immediately after you apply the rust remover. You will see the rust disappear in front of your eyes. If you wait half an hour you will have a hole in your garment.
