Question; Is it possible to remove moss from sail Covers?

Answer: Yes, the moss is growing on the surface and will be removed by the agitation of the cleaning process. Remove the covers to wash in a large washer with a soap and enzyme. Enzymes are readily available from heath food stores and some pet supply stores.

The other thing you can do put the sail covers on the boat then holes it down and scrub. Either way dry the covers completely to prevent the moss from growing back.
