Zero Breast Cancer Acceptance Speach

This is a very exciting time for me.

I have always seen myself as a drycleaner here to service my community not an activist here to change the world.

I do certain things in life because it is the right thing to do and it is such a wonderful feeling when someone notices what I have done.

Thank you Sharon & Zero Breast Cancer for noticing, I never would have expected such an honor.

So many people have put their heart and sole into making Pacific Heights Cleaners a certified green business.

My brother and business partner William, my staff, especially Sorayda, Lidia, & Veronica, they are the one’s that make it all happen.

Although the real honoree should be Hans Kim, he is a chemist who has devoted his life to developing this fantastic solvent free dry cleaning system.

The transition from using solvents to being green & sustainable has been both drastic & stressful.

I could not have done it without the support of my wife & son nor my customers & community.

Their health is my inspiration & their support is my savor.

My hope is that one day what I am doing will be the ordinary rather than the extraordinary.

Thank you again for your support and for this great honor!
